Verso

Know where every order is.

Verso is the work order, the bench queue and the pickup text for independent custom framing shops. One tablet at the counter. No carbon paper, no drawer of tickets to dig through.

In daily use on a shop counter, not a prototype.

An order on the counter screen.

A framing order is not a line item.

It is a moulding number, a mat with four borders, a glazing choice, a promised date and a customer who will call to ask about it. Generic point-of-sale software makes you flatten all of that into a description field. Verso keeps it as what it is.

Built around how framing actually works

The right words for glass

Glazing is picked from the names your supplier and your customer both use, Conservation Clear through Museum Glass, not a dropdown of invented tiers.

Money that stays exact

Prices and dimensions are carried as decimals from the counter to the database. A 5.08 never quietly becomes 5.080000000000001 on the way through.

Stages, not statuses

Intake, cutting, assembly, ready, picked up. An order sits in one of them and the whole shop sees which, so answering the phone does not mean walking to the bench.

One text, at the right moment

Customers who ask for it get a message when their piece is finished. One per order, no marketing, and they can stop it by replying STOP.

Signed at the counter

The customer signs the order on the tablet, and the signature stays attached to it. The paper copy was only ever a filing problem.
